The weldCAP is a revolutionary design for people who weld on a regular basis, but for whom this is not a main concern, so they need to be able to switch flexibly to other activities.
The design of the weldCAP allows extremely flexible use. You put it on and take it off as if it were a baseball cap, saving you time between tasks.
Before and after use, the weldCAP is easy to hang on a specially developed belt hook. This means you can always easily take the weldCAP with you and 'parking and transport problems' are a thing of the past. Due to the unique combination of materials, the weldCAP is ultra-light (approx. 390 grams), which ensures optimal wearing comfort.
The textile part (flame-retardant OEKO-TEX) can be washed several times. This Bump version is equipped with a hard head shell to protect your head when bumping it. The cassette (1/1/2/2 color 3/9-12) has a color 3 sharpening setting and therefore offers you a three times brighter image than a color 4 would.
Because the weldCAP is relatively close to the head, the welder has an extremely large field of view. The weldCAP is soft where it can be soft and hard where it needs to be hard. The weldCAP complies with the EN175 standard and therefore has the same degree of protection as regular optrel welding helmets.
