| Description | This Ibeda flame arrester is suitable for mounting on a pressure reducing valve. The use of an Ibeda flame arrester is mandatory for an acetylene pressure reducing valve. It is not mandatory to use an Ibeda flame arrester for a propane pressure reducing valve. In some (especially large companies), the company includes the use of an Ibeda flame arrester on propane reduction valves in the company regulations. This Ibeda flame arrester contains a flame-extinguishing element (sintered bronze), a check valve and a fuse cartridge. Primary connection is a 3/8"l union with ball cone. The secondary connection is an insertion grommet for 8mm hose according to European Standard 560, which makes it very easy to disconnect a hose from the Ibeda flame arrester. | Remark | This flame arrester is approved in Belgium and Germany because it has a melting pattern. In the Netherlands, the cheaper flame arrester no. 5022 is permitted. A quick coupling may never be used as a shut-off valve. When finishing work, the cylinder valve must always be closed. |
