This bimetallic band saw consists of an alloyed, refined strip steel to which a strip of highly alloyed HSS cobalt molybdenum steel is welded by means of an electron steel. The teeth are milled in this, after which the saw is hardened to 67 - 69 HRC.
The band saw can be used on ferrous and non-ferrous materials, with each bimetallic quality having its own specific area of ​​application.

Due to the high hardness of the edges, 67 -69 HRC, longer tool life can be achieved and higher cutting speeds can be used. Including for steel made of stainless steel materials with a tensile strength up to 1400 N/mm².
